Visitors...A Year Later
Unlike last year, we were unable to see these guys traveling through the yard. There were four of them that moved from the backyard to the front - two across the driveway and two up the side stairs. I'm pretty sure that these are same four bucks that came last New Year's Eve...last year they came around 9 or 10.

Christmas Rainbows
This was a first...rainbows in the west. We had snow most all of the day and then it began to clear in the late afternoon. At sunset there seemed to be just enough moisture in the air to create a rainbow.

Unlikely Visitor
Well, today had to be a multi-pic day! How many times do you have a fox that comes up on your deck (remember...we have a walk-out basement) and cuddles up for a morning nap!?!? This little fox has been seen around in the neighborhood - hope he comes back! We actually had to leave to go play golf, but we looked on the video cameras and saw that it was on the deck for about 30-45 minutes after we left.

In the Shadows
While we were playing golf at The Ridge (on hole #13) someone was doing work on their stone. All of the grinding and cutting caused all types of dust and with the sun behind, it looked pretty cool.

Monday Morning
Not the way I had hoped to start my day...coffee mug fell out of my bag, hit the ground and sprayed all over my pants. At least it was close to a matching color when it dried. ;)

Debris on the Deck
Well, we've had several days of "stuff" lying on the deck, pillars and railing. We weren't sure what it was, until today. We realized that the squirrel (who we've nicknamed Parker's boyfriend) has been coming up and shredding pine cones.

Pomegranate Seeds & Avocados
We were out at my parents' home in Burlington for the opening weekend of pheasant season. Pomegranate seeds came up in a conversation and I admitted that I had never tried them. So we had to buy one at the store...I love them!
We also enjoyed some Avocados from Mexico! I had been selected to host one of their House Parties, so we whipped up some yummy snacks!

Too Much of a Good Thing
Had one last pumpkin and wasn't in the mood to make anything too fancy. Decided to go with a little comedy.

Sunrise
Most of the "sun" shots I share are of the sunset...today it's not the sunrise, but the "moon set" and clouds.

Scarecrow Mix
Found the idea for this recipe on Pinterest and had to give it a try. Took some to the pumpkin carving party with my sisters. Here are the ingredients:
Cheeze-Its
Square Pretzels
Candy Corn
Unsalted Peanuts
Caramel Popcorn
Cocoa Puffs
Reeses Pieces
For most of the items I just eye-balled it, no specific measurements.

Quad Box
Watching the NFL Red Zone...the goal is to catch a quad box, take a photo, Tweet it, and win fabulous prizes. I managed to succeed in steps 1-3. Still waiting for the fabulous prizes!

iPad Wall
Chad helped me come up with this fun door decoration for our Fall Festival at school. The kids loved it...especially the "Booger" app for Bloger.

Pear Tree & Sunset
Even though this tree doesn't produce any pears, it has beautiful blossoms in the spring and amazing colors in the fall.
I had to make today a double pic day due to the sunset...it was amazing!

Last of Fall Golf...I Promise
Here we are at Fox Hollow again. With the morning light, I couldn't resist getting a pic of this beautiful tree. You've got to love fall in Colorado! I then decided to add a little effect.

Are you getting tired of fall golf photos yet?!?! I'm not! Here is the 17th hole at The Ridge. Today was little chilly though.
