Snow & Reef Got a good amount of snow today...too bad we already had the day off! Parker enjoyed a little of the Cayman Reef Cam this afternoon. It's always fun to visit my "happy place"!!
Deck the Halls Well, today is the day...out with fall, in with winter. Yes, I know that the official start date is still two weeks away, but the decorations have come out. The weather was beautiful so we got all of the outdoor lights hung. Found a "fall treasure" to enjoy while I was working. We were finally able to get everything inside back to its place and cleaned after all of our flooring work, so most of those decorations will come out tomorrow. And finally, who can resist a photo of a cute cat...I guess we know who runs this house!
Is it Friday!?!? OMG...this week needs to have an end. Considering the state of my thyroid and the "Seriously??? That's what you chose to have your students do? That wasn't in the plan!" I think I made it out of this week fairly well. I have officially decided to make Thursday the new Friday...who's with me!?!? I had great plans to take and post a photo of my TAC, but I forgot. I did manage to get a pic of my crime/dog fighting cat...yea right!! If you haven't seen the video of the cat chasing off the neighbor dog, you HAVE to watch it here! I had a pic that I didn't get to post yesterday. My swallows survived the crazy storm this week...yea!
Triple Threat Oh yes...three photos today...couldn't select just one! :) The first photo was out the backdoor. With the warmer weather, (not as warm as what they had in their forecasts) I'm guessing there will soon be golfers out on the course.
The second photo is of Parker "slightly" enjoying the Friskies iPad app. She was much more engaged the first time I pulled out my iPad.
Final photo...family dinner. We "flexed" the rules and had dinner on a Saturday night vs. the usual Sunday night. The Kenyons hosted and we made our way to Brazil...an absolute perfect use of the Big Green Egg!!!
Visitor We have started a new joke that the squirrel who comes up to the deck is Parker's boyfriend...well he paid her a visit today. He started out in the tree outside our bedroom, went down and then came up onto the deck. Their was a lot of running from window to window for Parker, but the two never came face-to-face through the glass.
Parker, our older cat LOVES milk! We always leave a little in our glass or bowl. She had been using her paw most of the time, but she got down to the very bottom of the glass and had to go all in.
