Frozen Playground
Today was a cold, foggy, icy day. While on playground duty before school you could feel the fog on your eyes. I also got a cool pic of the infinity circle.

Is it Friday!?!?
OMG...this week needs to have an end. Considering the state of my thyroid and the "Seriously??? That's what you chose to have your students do? That wasn't in the plan!" I think I made it out of this week fairly well. I have officially decided to make Thursday the new Friday...who's with me!?!?

I had great plans to take and post a photo of my TAC, but I forgot. I did manage to get a pic of my crime/dog fighting cat...yea right!! If you haven't seen the video of the cat chasing off the neighbor dog, you HAVE to watch it here

I had a pic that I didn't get to post yesterday. My swallows survived the crazy storm this week...yea!

Frosty Morning
Last night we got some much needed moisture in the form of both rain and snow...ended up with an icy layer on everything.

Soon it Will be Spring...Hopefully
The day started out with a snow and ice mixture frozen to the western side of the trees...the scrub oak looked very cool. So I decided to take the new Canon out back.

After taking the leaf/branch photos I headed out to get the mail and took a quick look for any "green" out front and came across these little daffodils making their way to the sun after a long winter.

Snow Day!

Before we even left school today they had called a snow day for Tuesday. It was 5 degrees when I was outside for crosswalk duty. It's expected to get down to nearly -20 overnight.

Not sure why...just decided to take a photo of my ice before adding my Diet Pepsi.

Melting.

We actually had two dustings of snow today...just enough to get the sidewalk wet. The surrounding hills still have a little covering them, but we didn't get enough to really make an impact.

As the sun was getting ready to go down I caught this icicle mid-drip..I love the continuous shooting feature on my camera. Even though I'm anxious for spring and summer, I would LOVE a really big March snow.
