St. Patrick's Day
Had a great time with the work wives today celebrating our Irish Heritage! And of course there were knee-highs involved!

Morning at Home
I was disappointed that I didn't get to play golf this morning, but I LOVED being able to sit out back and enjoy the morning sun. Parker even joined me. :)

Seedings
Throughout the summer, I always enjoy and appreciate the flowers and vegetables that my mom pots up for me. I got the chance to see them all in their "pre-potted" stage this weekend. We started doing some replanting, but it was too warm in the greenhouse.

We've Got Leaves!
I came home from a different direction today and realized that our front bush has green leaves. I was very excited!! I also have a few more mini-daffodils that are blooming...won't be long now!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!
I had to make sure I enjoyed a green beverage tonight. But I'm thinking that I must not have done a good enough job of channeling my "Inner-Irish" to enjoy this "Irish" cocktail. The recipe was for 1 oz Whiskey and 1 oz Creme de Menthe. Should have gone with my tried and true...and then just added green food coloring. ;)

As I stated on Instagram...some things on Pinterest should stay on Pinterest.

New Beginnings
Well, here we are again...New Year's Day. A day we all eat healthy, workout, clean the house, make some resolutions, get a couple new subscriptions, etc. Reflecting, I managed to get a whole SIX posts here last year! The sad thing is there have been a number of times that I search through the blog looking for certain events/photos. I've come to realize that I really enjoy looking back at previous posts. So...I resolve to more than 6 posts in 2014!

I couldn't decide between two photos, so I decided to post them both. This was the sunrise at my parent's farm in Burlington, Colorado the morning of Christmas Eve 2013.

The second photo was taken at least 2-3 years ago...signs of new life in the spring after a cold winter.

Something that will hopefully inspire you. Happy New Year and may 2014 bring you peace, love, joy, and happiness!!

Staying Warm

Well, we had a bit of a warm up today...I think the high was somewhere around 15 degrees! The house plants have it easy.
