The Perfect Combos
Started the day off with Sriracha & avocado...the perfect breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, ANYTIME combination! Ended the day with a New Old Fashion at The Union and the work wives!
Almost Annual Well, I had to keep up with our "Almost Employee of the Month" theme at work and host the "Almost Annual Back to School Party" at the Jensen household. I'm not sure which meteorologist to thank, but we were able to "enjoy" the September monsoons these last few days!! (I'm a farm girl...that's why I chose the word enjoy!!) Needless to say, with all of the late summer activities and crazy weather, we had a fun FAC tonight! It actually made me want to "get my 4% red on!"
Family Dinner April was the Jensen's turn to host Family Dinner. Chad's great idea...Greece!! After some searching on the internet the menu was set: Cocktails: Greek Mojitos & Sidecars Appetizer: Greek Chicken Pizza Main Course: Traditional gyro meat (a combo of lamb & beef baked in a loaf), homemade pitas and Tzatziki Sauce Side Dish: Greek Orzo Salad Dessert: Baklava Everything turned out great...and that's just not my biased opinion! :)
And the random, non-family dinner pic is of the CRAZY golfers that we saw most of the day in the COLD, WINDY, SNOWY weather. I love my golf, but really!?!?!?
It's Friday, Friday!! After a very long, but very successful, testing week - it's finally Friday!! Had to celebrate with Happy Hour at The Union. Looking forward to golf and family this Easter weekend!!
It's Official! As of 4:00 this afternoon, Spring Break 2014 officially began...WOOHOO!!!! Vodka with lime, flip flops and the first FULL day of spring, what was a girl to do???
Make it a Double Had to go with two photos today. I was excited to receive my new martini shaker yesterday and "feature" it as today's photo, but had to include another FAC photo... Made an Old Fashioned as the first drink tonight and then a slightly dirty martini in the new shaker as a second. I did downsize the quart jar to a pint. :)
