Car to the Shop
This morning I had to take my car into the shop to get a little work done. 

But the great part was we made our way to Snooze for the first time. Had a YUMMY Chili Verde Benny and a Boss Hog. Who knew that you could make Breckenridge Bourbon even better...but you can by infusing it with bacon!

Have a couple of extra photos today...ones that I've posted before. Decided to do some theme posting with a blog I follow. Today's theme was sidewalk. The first is of a heart I found on the ground at school and the second is on the road in front of my parent's place.

Super Bowl
Well, it was a sad day for us Bronco Fans...not having our team in the Big Game. Still had fun with family though. 

I made some cake pops - had to honor "Deflate Gate" some how! 

Dave made yumminess on his Big Green Egg..chicken wings and "Pig Shots."

And I've been playing with my ice spheres. Just past half frozen, I dumped the water out. Then filled it with a Negroni Cocktail.

The Day After
After all the yummy food yesterday, today is just a day to much on snacks and leftovers. Recently came across these two yummy popcorn flavors. Parked in front of the tv watching the CSU Rams and "How to Train Your Dragon 2." Trying to find motivation to clean and begin decorating for Christmas.

After I originally made this post, I ended up with a beautiful sunset photo...had to add it!

Thanksgiving
I'm not hosting this year, but I feel like I've spent just as much time in the kitchen today. We will be headed to the Kenyon's house tomorrow with: homemade rolls, deviled eggs (some with candied bacon!), artichoke dip, and a pomegranate cocktail in tow! Looking forward to a wonderful day with family tomorrow!!!

The Boulders
Well, we had high hopes going into today...not so much. The course was nice, but not all that. Still happier with our Colorado Troon course...The Ridge. The one wish I had was that there would be more to take photos of while we waited FOREVER on EVERY hole!!

Oh yea...my favorite quail! They were on the #1 tee box.

Yummy Bacon
After a long, crappy week I decided to treat myself to a little bacon on Friday. (I usually save it for Saturday or Sunday since I cook it in the oven.) Obviously you can tell I'm not Catholic. ;)

Busy Day
I started out the day remembering our one and only "Brown Dog"...Bailey. He was our cocker spaniel that we lost three years ago today. With this pre-shave hairdo he could have been a member of One Direction! He had been a part of our family for 14 years...I miss him and think of him often. :(

I spent the majority of the day at the Downtown Aquarium with Discovery Education. They had a Science Techbook training. We got a behind the scenes tour and ton of PD around the Techbook. I was excited to smell salt water and neoprene. Even though this isn't how I like to see my sharks, I prefer up close and personal, it was fun to see them, along with some of my other favorite critters. ;)

And finally, today was the start of the annual Denver Restaurant Week. We have a few locations lined up for the week. Tonight was Zink. I enjoyed Thai Brussel Sprouts, Bulgogi Chicken and a Maple BACON Brownie Cupcake. (I had taken a pic of the sprouts, but the dessert looked much more appetizing.) I was a good girl and brought half of it home. :)

Quad Box
Well, there was NO way I could stick with one photo, let alone two photos today!!! In honor of our Denver Broncos winning the AFC Championship game and in remembrance of the NFL RedZone (Yes, they will be back next year, I just miss watching all the games.) I decided to make today a Quad Box!!

• The few clouds that showed up in the north for an ORANGE & BLUE SUNSET!! As some of you know, I was missing them last night. :)

Reef Cam & Dinner
(Sorry, I had to post two topics today...I liked my burger photo.)

Over the weekend I discovered the "reef cam" at my favorite Grand Cayman resort, Ocean Frontiers. They've always had their office cam that looks over the boat docs, but the reef cam is very cool!! Every now and then they will rotate the camera for a different view. Today I finally remembered to look at it during the day!! It's a great little time-out or way to get an "ocean fix." This is just a screenshot I took today. Here's a link to the cams.


Dinner

Tonight's dinner was a yummy turkey burger. Toppings included: ketchup, mustard, onion, pickles, lettuce, jalapeno, avocado, and BACON!
