Tonight was the first family dinner of 2014 and we were the hosts. This year's theme is "Countries Around the World" with the host choosing the country/region. To kick things off, we went with Mexico.On the menu:
Ham & Goat Cheese Empanadillas (pictured)
Fish & Red Sauce Chicken Tacos
Homemade Corn Tortillas
Homemade Sweet Corn Tamales
Three different homemade salsas: mango, avocado/cucumber & avocado green chili
Mexican Chocolate Cheesecake
And of course lime-tequilla shooters (pictured), Cerveza and Fresh Lime Margaritas!
