Amazing Fall Colors
I am sad, but excited, to say that today was the first time I've ever really gone up to the mountains to enjoy the fall colors. They were beautiful! I took Hwy 67 from Divide to Cripple Creek. I left home in the early afternoon and ended up arriving just in time for the rain. Fortunately I was patient and stuck around...it was well worth my time. Here are just a couple of the photos I took...will be posting some HDRs hopefully a little later this week.
Out on the Trail
Came across just a few bushes beginning to show their fall colors on my walk behind the school today. Not sure that I'm ready to let go of summer just yet. If you look closely, you can see the moon.
The Warm After the Cold
Had some cooler weather the last couple of days. Back to the beautiful summer mornings on the golf course!
Hot!
We can officially say it was HOT today! I was disappointed that I just missed getting the Thunderbirds in this shot...they were just off to the left. Also disappointed that I didn't see the bear that was around the golf course and near our school this morning.
18 Holes!!
Made it around the full course today...so much nicer than Thursday. It's amazing how much difference having the sun makes! We are hoping for no wind tomorrow, or at least mild winds. Played with a wonderful couple and ate some yummy burgers!

It's amazing how much difference 24 hours makes...especially in the spring! Got to love living in Colorado!
